Re: Blackberry Emulator
windows uses an exchange server to get emails immediately but i think that if your company is mandating blackberry then they probably won't give you the server address or domains required to run exchange or they may not even use microsoft i don't know. But blackberry's are still around because their email system can't be reproduced so basically a winmo phone will never be as good as a blackberry when it comes to emails and there is no program that can make winmo phones offer blackberry service.

Re: Blackberry Emulator
I don't have the proper testing tool or experience with Blackberry. However, BBConnect seems to do what you want.
Download and read: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412277 Let us know if this does the trick. |

Re: Blackberry Emulator
Copy of software. The HTC site has a Feb release of Blackberry Connect for the Touchpro but for some reason my phone s/n comes back as invalid. Does any one have this software. If so I can test since we are running BES.

Re: Blackberry Emulator
BBConnect only works for Blackberry Enterprise Servers and is meant so that if the server administrator wants to let non blackberries connect to the server, then a piece of software on WM can allow it, however I'm pretty sure it's still up to the server administrator if they wish to allow non blackberries to connect to the BES's.
Gmail doesn't run BES servers so we can't use BBConnect to download mail from gmail. Unless gmail runs the exchange protocol we can't get true push email from them, unless WM utilizes another push protocol for internet mail. |
