6.5 ROM's with FM radio?

I posted about this yesterday on the FM Radio Discussion thread. No2Chem has made it the farthest in FM radio research on the TP to my knowledge. It'll be quite some time before he has time to get it figured out. He's a busy college student.

I just trie EnergyRom and i could find no FM Radio in it...

why does anyone need a fm radio just stream radio over you phone is uber easy

1st goto http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/ with IE

2nd pick your state or what state you want to listen to
I would bookmark your state so its easy to come back to

3rd click the link for that radio station WM will launch media player and your station will start to play

4th enjoy


oh to stop the steam hit MENU in media player and then STOP

see its easy who needs a app or a fm tuner I have used this with headphones and bluetooth speakers works great

Battery life. Streaming over the net will kill your battery in a big hurry, but a simple FM tuner uses almost no battery whatsoever.

try it I usually use the streaming on my touch pro 30 to 45 min per day and have no trouble making it two days on a charge its not as bad as you think

You must use a car battery in place of the stock battery! haha Mine wouldn't make it two days on a charge unless I turned off the phone radio (i.e. went into flight mode). Even then I'm not sure it'd make it.

Seriously, though, how do you manage to stream audio 30-45 minutes each day and have your phone last two days?

Is there any app that I can use to get my local AM station?

i am also using the energy rom and cannot find the fm radio. i dont believe there is one on it but the gsm energy roms have the radio installed.
