Java support please help a noob!

Okay I have had my phone for almost a month and have spent hours upon hours every week looking for Java support for my phone. I have not been able to find anything... so I hope someone can steer me the right way. I can not download .jar or .jad files. I was really hoping to play some cool games on my phone and also wanted to switch to Opera Mini but can't seem to do it without Java. I thought the HTC touch pro had a MIDlet manager but I can't seem to get it to work... thanks for any info!

This noobette is stuck with Alltel!

I found this in ppc forums that included a link to xda for a .cab file that had opera mini 4.2 with the Esmertec Jbed. I had tried in the past to download the jbed independently with no avail. I downloaded this cab and got java and opera mini! I navigated opera mini a little but need more time to evaluate. hopefully i can upgrade to 4.3. i wonder if there is a newer version of jbed since this link is from 08? Yea, i have java!!!
link to ppc forum http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=59292&page=5be Thanks to w7excursion!!!

edit: BTW, if this helps thank me, i could use the appreciation after my HOURS and HOURS of searching...

Sprint Titan is a Java machine for Windows Mobile...

Apparently it's free for us Sprint customers, but only a trial for others.

Sprint Titan™ Runtimes

Unlimited use license: Windows Mobile 6 and later Sprint PDAs from HTC (Touch, Touch Diamond, Touch Pro, Mogul)
90-day evaluation: All other non-Sprint WM 6 and later PDAs
90-day evaluation: WM 6 and later non-Sprint Smartphones

Re: Java support please help a noob!

I have not had reason to use Titan much yet, I don't use Opera Mini as much since Opera Mobile 9.5 does a pretty good job, but it wouldn't surprise me that Sprint would make something poorly hehe :-p

Two other alternatives here.
