Hard Keys not working, please help

I was trying to delete a movie from my storage card using Total Comm, in the middle of it the process hesitated for a while and I forcefully backed out of total comm and when it didn't close I killed the process with wisbar. Now my phone seems very laggy, it drags when scrolling through pages, sometimes at startup my mem card isn't seen, and none of my hard keys work. broke down and a hard reset, hard keys still aren't working. Is it possible that I corrupted my ROM files with whatever I did? WTF did I do!!! If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
