Stock verizon? I'm assuming you mean a verizon touch pro. I think your best bet would be to install a rom other than stock.

Try this cab. Install, soft reset, and everything SHOULD just work. Let us know.

I was looking for the same answer since I just switched back to the new VZW ROM for working Voice Command...

ICS works fine on stock ROM, and there is no real way for certain parties knowing how you are using the data on your phone. As long as you don't use exorbitant amounts of data, you will be fine (even then you will probably be okay, but it is more likely to raise a flag on your account).

This did not appear to do anything to the latest Verizon ROM. Should internet sharing be a choice after plugging in with this fix installed? Or is there more to it than that?
