since 8:34am to 8:05pm my touch pro battery went down 1 bar

thats right i wanted to get behind what was draining my battery. i appplied all battery tweaks for the touch pro when i got the phone and made it better. i was off work today and decided to see how the battery last with the radio turned off(basically airplane mode)i used the phone to play games an mess with software on the phone that didnt require internet threwout the day. the battery on went down 1 bar in 12 hours vs battery usually gone in 7 hours of non use with 3 bars of service in my house. so the radio is the cause of rapid falling battery life. what would htc have to do to fix the radios?

Try flashing to a different radio like myself & many others have done...

forgot to mention i was using the verizon radio 1.03.03v since i first got the phone. which radio do you reccomend

also you can test your battery drain with different situations and set-ups using a battery drain monitor
like this one

I saw 12 hours and thought you had achieved some miracle until I noticed you said it was with the radio off. I think today I had my battery last a full 2 hours with no calls and light usage (though I do have exchange Push mail)

my battery routinely runs all day with moderate usage all day long i just disabled touch flo 3d and use spb mobile shell 3.0 instead
now i do drain my battery fast if i forget to disable internet connection and even if its on the charger it will die and cut off then charge up really quilckly
running stock sprint rom
and well i cary a spare battery i got off ebay for 10 bucks lol to work as an emergency battery i charge and drain it once a week just to be on the safe side

Newsflash.

Without the phone turned on, there is no RF transmissions from it unless you have BT/Wifi enabled.

The device itself uses very little power, it's the RF communications that take up a lot of the power...
