Pretty sure that is an issue HTC are continuing to ignore. Its a shame, Telenav is great on a blackberry but..not so great on the TP. Not sure why we can't get what we pay for.

i have the rom installed on my phone now visual voicemail is now one of the programs that come pre installed. I launched google maps and hit use gps in the menu but it says my signal was weak ill have to wait til i try it outside i guess.

so far so good tho no problems at the moment....i didnt fool around with visual voicemail yet but is it free for us to use at the moment?

Nope .. It's $3 a month ... You will see it on your next bill, it took a billing cycle before it showed up on My Verizon for me.

Well,
I am very happy that Voice Command now works.
I like Visual Voice Mail, it is really cool.
I like the fact that Verizon kept their promise about unlocking the GPS.

I Did change the pagepool from 6 to 8 MB's!!

However, this rom is sucking my battery dry quick. Was down to 80 % by 11 AM with no active sync. I turned on Push with our Exchange Server and the battery is at 70% an hour later and the radio is warmer than with the radio I was using before.

So now the question is, how do we pull out the stuff we like and get it into the kitchens?
I may just try flashing the radio back to what I was using before and see if that helps. Also, we could try adding in the battery hacks. I am not sure where they are, but I am sure they are in here somewhere....

Speed wise, this seems on par with Mighty ROM I have been using.

EDIT: 5 PM and battery at 50% almost no use.....

Can someone who's flashed to this ROM & is using Visual Voice Mail, go to Menu>Help & tell me what version of VVM it installed? I'm using 1.1.6.5 on the Mighty5 ROM & there's a problem where the audio comes out the speaker even though I've set it to use the earpiece. I'm wondering if there is a different version for this latest ROM.

Just flashed...had to install and use HTC GPS tool to get first lock in Garmin....but locks fine now..will report back on battery life with new radio and GPS lag etc...

It came with 1.1.7.7 installed. I went into the option menu and it said update and it downloaded a new version from http://mobile.vzw.com/download/vvm/W...wm_release.cab

Nice. If you happen to see a .cab on your Pro for this & don't mind uploading it, that would be much appreciated. I haven't see 1.1.7.7 posted anywhere.

Thanks... that worked great. Unfortunately the audio is still playing through the speaker even when earpiece is selected. Is it doing the same to you? I'm using a Verizoned Sprint Touch, so that might having something to do with it.
