i did follow his advice and tried that but it still didnt work. could it have something to do with the epst settings? i know my titan i had to change some of them settings to get my data connection to work after i had flashed a new rom

the carrier cab should take care of this im pretty sure.
thats really weird though try another custom rom and check if it works.
Ive never had a problem with data where it isnt fixed by removing the xda-developers.com GPRS A... program and then softresetting

i tried silence's rom 6.5 base version 3 and it worked fine but dont get me wrong i love your rom and would love to use it i just cant be without data!

i have a data connection problem too. after removing the gprs and soft-resetting the data worked for a few hours.
But every few hours now, the data connection seems to stop working. it says something like "can't dial #777". Then I do a soft-reset and it sometimes starts working again. However, it's annoying having to keep soft-resetting.

Any other fixes? (I'm on sprint by the way)
