Can I Get The Sprint Instinct Navigation On My Touch Pro?

It's a shame that my SERO plan doesn't include Navigation, but I have Garmin anyway, though since I've flashed with MR6, I've noticed Garmin sometimes freezes and stops rendering, but still gives voice directions. It's pretty annoying, but I've reflashed and see if it continues.

a major difference between the two is that you can press a button on th instinct and say "Mcdonalds" and it will instantly find all the mcdonalds in your area. You can do a speak option with the touch pro too but you have to go into search mode then select the option to either speak the search or type the search.. The Instinct Navigation is much cooler.

That is the one thing that the instinct had in nav that was very nice. You could use the live search button on the side of the phone, speak the business name, let livesearch locate it, and then livesearch would automatically give you the option to navigate their using gps, at which point it transfers the address into sprint navigation and starts navigating with turn by turn directions. It was definately very smooth and easy to use, however, the same thing is accomplished with JUST sprint navigation if you use the search feature.

so with us now knowing its a littel different can a chef maybe cook up something to get the Instinct Nav system on our touch pros?

Live search is nice for quick nav. It doesn't do voiced turn by turn, but it is small and fast.

I remember when I switched from the instinct, this thing seemed to have the same exact navigation app. Nothing different from what I can tell

at least there's not GPS lag on the Instinct, my TouchPro is like half-block behind me while i drive...How can HTC screw that up so badly?! the Mogul was Perfect navigating.

Hopefully this is the rom upgrade when that happens!!!
