Touch pro 2

with the release for this phone comming up i would like to know from the site ops why is there not a main forum for this phone and if there considering its going to be released soon... right now i am having a hard time finding a comparison between the tp and the tp2

Over in the pocket pc news forums there are several threads that talk about what the tp2 will come with.

I just checked them out. The TP2 has worse battery life, no cam flash, no dpad, weighs more, is bigger, uses a older cpu, zoom bar is touchy, but will be a great phone just like the TP.
Then in 3 months from now you will hear about the upgrade to the TP2, the all new TP3, then TP4. Why release a phone so close to the release of another? IT's like cars, they release the 2010 model in Feb and March. The TP2 is nice for a bigger phone and a nice screen, but they brag about the higher resolution screen, of course it is higher, it is bigger! I'll stick with my TP that I just got brand new for $1.05 back in March as a trade for my poor Mogul and all it's problems. Plus since Sprint will be upgrading the Touch Pro to WM6.5 as well as the Touch Pro 2, I will wait until the Wm7 is released with snapdragon 1 ghz. Oh and the new TP2 has less ram.

it does have a dpad.

Video says there is no dpad on the TP2. Go to HTC, look up Touch PRO 2, it says, dpad, not supported.

Screen size has nothing to do with resolution...

Pixel resolution has a lot to do with size. The bigger screen on the new TP2 is wider, the ratio for the resolution is the same. So you are wrong about your comment. You ever sold a tv or laptop? I have, learned a lot aboout sgreen pixel and resolution...
