Re: On my 5th Touch Pro and this one is is just... Horrible.

Patience? Prior to owning this phone, I had a Nextel i870 for 3 years... When I changed to this phone, it was the best freakin' thing EVER... I can't use another phone, I love this interface too damned much... Afraid of change? Not really... But I hate iPhails, Blackberries, and Palms...

I would get the Touch Pro 2 if all the bugs are worked out and it's stable... Everything else... No... I love this phone and when it works... It's bliss... Kinda like my Corrado.

I personally consider 3000+ texts a month very heavy usage. I wonder what the MTBF rating is for each one of the keys on that membrane?

Talking Re: On my 5th Touch Pro and this one is is just... Horrible.

All I can say is after 5 phones and all of them have so many prolems, you are just a picky customer. Not trying to be an a$$, but I have to admit that you should never have left the store if it was so bad. I have had my TP since March and yes I too had a few issues.
One was the chrome issue and the other was a battery issue, both were manufactures defects and not just wear and tear. Why not call corprate and tell a manager what is going on. I did when I had my Mogul, talk about issues, they finaly sent me a new TP for all my troubles. Issues with the Mogul were battery, camera, software freeze up and the phone shut itself off when it wanted too. 3000 text is a lot, why not use the touch screen for text?
I use the keyboard only when I am not walking or any where I might drop it.
I have no gap and I text about 4000 a month for business. My phone has a strap on it to help keep from droping it and easier to hold when taking claims pics. You can get a new phone but by reading you r thread, you will never be happy.

Re: On my 5th Touch Pro and this one is is just... Horrible.

Well I do 3000+ texts both sending and receiving.... A bit over half are sent.

If I wanted to use an onscreen keyboard I would have gotten a Diamond...

Great point, I will admit that the Mogul had what seamed like a better keyboard. Call this number and leave a message for Kyle a head tech and manager at sprint, 19139815750, tell him what is going on and he will help you dude, okay, if he doesn't answer, then leave a message. That is, if you are with Sprint. TELL HIM EVERYTHING, DON'T LEAVE OUT ANY DETAILS.
