Trying to add a Rom...

Ok... I started to flash my phone. Set up the necessary preparations from cmonex's thread on how to flash a phone. Downloaded the proper hard spl (Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip) and following the instructions from pjtwist2002 while watching the youtube video tutorial. With that said here's where it gets a bit crazy... my phone is plugged in and active sync says it's connected. I run the Raphael CDMA HSPL 037 file and it gets to the tri color security screen...before it finishes the active sync disconnects and i'm left at the tri color screen but the phone doesn't restart. so I just open the file again and run it while in the security screen. it works. I restart it and check and it says Unlocked at the top. Raph800 SPL-0.37 CMONEX. Now when I try to add the Might Rom4_06.01.09_Victor.exe or the Mighty Rom4.8 it gets to the status bar section of adding the rom and it goes to 1% and a screen pops up with error [244] invalid model id This update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. please check your update utility. and soft resets my phone... I'm so frustrated... Help PLEASE!!

Are you sure your using a cdma rom? sorry for the obvious question but I dont remember Victor.exe or 4.8 .... also are you sure your using a Touch Pro rom?

i have to agree with YouMayLose...never heard of those ROM versions from mighty...recheck where you downloaded and see if it is a CDMA ROM...you should be looking at MightyROM4_06.01.09_Herman not Might Rom4_06.01.09_Victor.exe

Yes Victor is the Diamond... You need to download Mighty's latest Touch Pro ROM from here ... you must've got your threads crossed

If you read right below MightyROM4 in that link you will see the various carriers he has listed as compatible and yes Cricket is one of them

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment and bearing with me in my moment of pure ignorance!! I really appreciate the feed back and was able to flash the phone and get it working!! YaaaY!!! You all kick ***!! So what themes would you suggest and are hella cool??
