Using your TP as a modem

Im sorry im on a mobile phone and i need to access the internet and do some work, i was using PDAnet but i can't use it anymore is there any free applications i can use to use the internet off my touch pro. I know were supposed to do a search first but i really dont want to spend 5hrs on my phone looking for something. If was on a reg internet i would have did a search..thanks for any quick responses.

Which carrier are you on? Are you using a stock ROM? For quick connection just go to Settings\Connections\USB to PC check the box stating "Ask me first..." When you connect the data cable your PPC should give you the Phone as modem choice.

I am assuming you have a stock ROM. If so, install the following cab, unless you have already done so. Then go to programs and select Internet Sharing press connect and then connect the data cable. Your PC will install the necessary drivers, should work for you.

yea i got it, i kinda got like a small connection to find it and yea downloaded it and is working alot faster. thanks alot

Hello, Today I received a new phone from Sprint. My old phone internet sharing worked perfect, however the new phone I cant seem to connect. I have installed the internet sharing fix, etc. the connect button is grey and will not connect. I have tried everything that a HTC Touch Pro Dummy should do. Please advise and all help is appreciated.
