Go to settings, then today, then items, deselect tf3d, soft reset, then go back to today, reselect tf3d, reset, all good...

But that wont stop the issue from happening again though.

If your with Sprint the fix comes in the fall with the updated rom wm6.5.
I have the same issue every now and then and my above post fixes it, but it will not stop it from happening again. Hard reset will not fix it. I already tried that. Btw, my phone was made near the end of March. Last edited by zepsamsung; 05-29-2009 at 04:15 PM. |

I use the tfdetacher, when the message or email issue happen, I just close the tf3d and reopen it and the problem is gone. It happens on my phone a few times a week.

Re: txt msg inbox shows 1 new msg, even when theres none
there is a fix for this. called "unread fix count" or "fix unread count" or something or another. i know it used to be in the PPC kitchen. not sure how to get a hold of it as a cab though. another option to try is scroll through your messages slowly, pause on each one for 10-15 seconds and see if that makes it go away. i have the (1) new message thing if i just flip through it to quickly and have to go back and take my time.

Re: txt msg inbox shows 1 new msg, even when theres none
Weird, I just had this problem this morning. All I did was delete all of my messages, didn't have anything important in there anyway, and it disappeared.

Re: txt msg inbox shows 1 new msg, even when theres none
One time when my phone did this I also tried this.
I sent an email to each of my accounts and a text message to my phone from another phone. When they showed up, I turned my phone off and removed the battery. Put the battery back in and restarted the phone. I then checked my email and message and then the counter went to 0. Try it, it may work for you... |
