Touch pro video (Just a thought)

I know this probably isn't possible but i really wish they would enable MPEG or WMV as a option for a format in the video camera. It's really a pain to go through converters to try and get it to play in Windows media player (I like windows media player best). Any ideas?

I'm currently using Camera for PPC version 6.01 (build 32976) and it has the option to capture in mpeg4.

Using R3BORN as ROM.

That's true but MPEG-4 can't be played with windows media player. ugh, i guess ill just have to move on to real player.

Just recorded a small vid with my camera. Played it with the WMP in my TP and also connected my TP as a disk drive and played the vid with Windows Media on my laptop.

I may sound stupid, but is this a third party camera app or the one we have on our tp's? I cant stand the app we have already on our tp because the quality is horrid.

It's a stock HTC app that came with MightMike's R3BORN ROM.

It recorded very smoothly. I was watching ESPN and recored a small fragment of NHL highlights. Plays very well minus the white haze from the screen being too bright (haze coming off the ice). It was not choppy of anything of the like.

or you could just download a codec package which should make the files viewable in WMP...
