WinMo 6.5 or Custom ROMS?

I have noticed that there is a bug when Closing out the text message screen (From the X in the corner) on WinMO 6.5. When it goes back to the Home screen (NOT TF3D) it tends to hang up, it doesnt do it all the time, but it has done it on both Custom 6.5 ROMS I have flashed to. (MR5 and Slience X). I dont have alot of programs installed on the phone other than what was included with the ROM. Has anyone else experienced this problem.

It's the problem that has started many threads.
Many many threads, and I'm just talking about them at the vogue section too. haha.
It's something to do with a 100+ texts in the phone.

Fix = Delete your texts till we get the non beta version,
and hope that the non beta version is fixed.

Thanks for the fast response, is there a way to set up an auto delete on messages that are more than 5 days old?

If you go to messaging > SMS \ MMS
Click menu,
There should be a Delete all button there.
Otherwise go to tools > Clear "SMS \ MMS"

Not sure if you'll have either of those two options,
but I believe that's the closes way to do what you'd like.
I've been trying to play around with some options,
and haven't found anything.
So I don't think it's an option unfortunately,
they better have this in the final release of 6.5
that they just released to the manufacturers.

If I find a better fix, I'll let you know.

I have deleted every text message in my phone and yet I still have this problem. Doesnt do it all the time but it still does it. Hopefully they fix it in the final version of 6.5
