Re: Sprint users... What radio do you use?? And what works the best!!??

I think everyone's experience will be different depending on where you are.

But I've tried both 1.11 and telus radios and have seen absolutely no difference from stock.

Flashing a radio from your SD card is the same as flashing a ROM from your SD. You just need to rename the .nbh file to RAPHIMG.nbh and copy it to the root of your card (i.e. \Storage Card\RAPHIMG.nbh). You then just need to get into the bootloader (Power + Vol Down + Reset Button) and follow the instructions to proceed. Of course you need to be unlocked first....

If I flash my Sprint TP to Telus radio is it possible to flash back to Sprint stock radio if I need to have my phone serviced?

Re: Sprint users... What radio do you use?? And what works the best!!??

Do any of the major roms flash a radio at the time or reflashing? mighty or juicy particularly. Also, is there an easy way to tell which radio your phone is currently using? I know when I first flashed Mighty 4.X my internet speed trippled on speed tests and that right there made me a believer in cooked roms

Go to your Settings\System\DeviceInformation, radio version displayed right there. If the ROM had tweaks built in to it, I can see how your data may have been sped up.

Re: Sprint users... What radio do you use?? And what works the best!!??

I'm in NorCal and get great signal most places...except at home. I am in the center of three Sprint towers, two about 1/2 mile in opposite directions, and another about 1 mile away. Its just a small pocket of bad reception and happens to be where I live and Sprint says they can't do anything about based on the locations of the towers. They did give me an Airave and that helps. So, would switching the radio help with this at all of affect being able to use the Airave?

Thanks!!!
