background image is not showing up? black background?
I've tried multiple pictures even dedicated background pictures and I cannot get them to show up
 I used the today -> use background image option to do this.

go to your settings tab on your TF3D and select the wallpaper option.
Then pick your image. Doing this will only change your home tab background unless you use the attached cab. then it will show up in all tabs.
