Re: How do I use HTC Touch Pro?

The battery cover is hard to slide off.

Basically you want to use both thumbs positioned near the top of the back cover to push the cover forward (using a little downward pressure with your thumbs).

You can use your two index fingers to apply pressure on the top of the phone (lay them flat on the chrome part on either side of the speaker hold 'pointing' at each other) as you push forward with your thumbs.

There will be a little 'snap' as the cover 'unlocks', it really only 'slides' forward a short distance, then you lift it off. The 'forward' motion is upwards towards the 'top' of the phone.

I hope I haven't completely confused matters. I just remember having a really hard time with the battery cover the first few times I need to remove it. I've found having your thumbs applying pressure near the top of the phone is what does the trick.

Good luck!

Re: How do I use HTC Touch Pro?

I can't remove the grey part. I think in the Sprint store they removed the black? How? Just ignore.

Mlin,

Are you a moderator? Yes, I hope? Does your fingers feel like removing a post that was uncalled for?

Re: How do I use HTC Touch Pro?

I have been playing with the phone. I found MySpace. I have to find it again. The MySpace is small. What would be the next step?

Re: How do I use HTC Touch Pro?

If I were you, I'd go to the Sprint store and have one of the people there give you a tutorial so you can start off on the right foot. Some of these questions like how to remove the battery cover are so much easier to answer if someone can just show you.

Otherwise, you might just have a frustrating experience with a great phone.

Good luck
