star rom 6.5. Anyway to set htcalbum as default picture viewing?

I changed over from MR5 to Starrom 1.7 and am really enjoying it. The only thing i don't like is that HTC Album is not the default for picture viewing. I installed a HTC Album cab so i now have it on my phone but i would like it to be tied to my pictures panel. Is there a registry edit or something i can do to accomplish this?
