And get laughed out of court once HTC brings to the stand a tech expert who shows how things get hot when placed under a pile of clothes? Including batteries getting hot too? And then the warning that is on every HTC battery is read allowed.

Glad you're all right, that looks harsh...but on a lighter note, it did remind me of a slightly amusing Cornholio line...lol.

I beg to differ. Lithium Polymer and Ion are "the same" but the package is different. These small batteries are in the polymer configuration. That is why they balloon when they go bad. They are little foil sandwiches...
