What am i doing wrong?

Maybe i'm slightly stupid but, i am having trouble syncing w/ vista. I downloaded sync center and windows mobile device center. It will only allow me to sync with the media that is on my pc. i can't sync my contacts. have outlook 02. Any ideas or help would be beautiful. Thanks in advance for the help. Its been a while since i have done this. Last time was on my mogul.

go back to wmdc and there's a feature that lets you check what you want synced. check contacts at the top(you'll see contacts twice, one at the bottom, but you can't check that one)

happened to me once, but i reinstalled office (outlook) and then everything worked fine
