Virtual keyboard annoyance.

Is there a way to get the virtual keyboard to stop popping up every time I put select a new cursor box? I've looked around every setting tab in just about every program and can't find anything. It's terribly annoying. Is there a registry setting that I need to change or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Re: Virtual keyboard annoyance.

There is a option if you use the diamond tweak program for it to not auto popup. There might also be in advanced configuration tool.

Im not going to look all over, but i do believe in both Diamond Tweak and Adv. Config you can select SIP (Soft Input Panel) or not.

You can do it via Reg Edit:

HKCU/Control Panel/SIP

DWORD Value "TurnOffAutoDeploy" decimal value = "1"

If that DWORD value is not there, just add it and soft reset.

Best of luck!

This didn't work for me, for some reason. I am on Sprint stock ROM. Am I maybe missing another setting?
