Phone won't turn on sometimes

Last night I put my phone on the charger and was almost late for work because the alarm on my phone wasn't going off. I have an internal alarm luckily, so my body knew I should be up. I tried to turn on my phone but the screen would not turn on. I unplugged it from the charger and the circle light was still indicating that the phone was charging even after it was unplugged. I had to soft reset and i had 10 text messages from my sister saying her stepdaughter(my sister married an older guy) was having her baby/had her baby/the baby learn to talk.

I also got a "goodnight" and an "..or not" message from this girl I like

All because my phone wasn't on. YOU'RE RUINING MY LIFE TOUCH PRO!
