Re: Windows 7 - Hates WMDC
Flashing under Windows 7 32-bit and 67-bit with no problem. Windows 7 RC1 auto install all the neccessary drivers even in bootloader mode.

Re: Windows 7 - Hates WMDC
Listing your Win7 build number may help. Win7 downloaded and installed WMDC acutomatically for me while using a fresh install of the Release candidate. The beta build however did not.
Flashing should be no problem for Win7 as well. Ive done it with both 32bit and 64bit clients. |

Re: Windows 7 - Hates WMDC
I sync and flash just fine with the RC1 build. I look forward to getting Device Stage working for WM devices. It is a great feature and works great wit supported devices.

Re: Windows 7 - Hates WMDC
Wtf...how is this working for all of you so easily. Windows 7 can't pick up my Touch Pro. It keeps thinking its a goddamn storage device and I'm not given the option to activesync. Any help would be appreciated, the people on the Windows 7 board seem stumped as well. This is really frustrating.

Re: Windows 7 - Hates WMDC
I have windows 7 x64. This is what I had to do. Download and install the wmdc for x64:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Start the install without your phone connected to the usb. You see the install get to a point where it looks like it either quit or is no longer doing anything. At this point connect your phone and it will finish the installation. After doing this I can now sync and flash my phone. |
