I have to second this , that for a featured lock there is none better than Pocketshield.

Re: Slide 2 Unlock App Killing The Phones Battery?

I am tracking down a drainage issue on mine by installing my apps one at a time and S2U2 V1.62 is not what was causing my problems. I think it is all PUSH related, but have yet to determine that, but I definitely ruled out S2U2, with proper settings of course...

I am upgrading from an XV6700 and something I had on it that had no issues is killing this phone.....

EDIT: I may have to eat these words as I am now trying out PocketShield and am seeing a big difference...

I am too going to try pocketShield as this seems almost just like s2u2.

Re: Slide 2 Unlock App Killing The Phones Battery?

I tried it with Mighty 5 and the hotfix for S2U; no help on battery life. I've abandoned the unlock app and I'm using the standard 6.5 lock. It's not as nice (no e-mail and appointment reminders), but it works.

Re: Slide 2 Unlock App Killing The Phones Battery?

Never had severe battery drain with s2u2. it might depend on certain s2u2 settings. i have mine set to come up only when i turn my display back on. it's just like any other app, so you should expect that it uses some of the battery if it's constantly on. with the settings i use, i still get my full day worth of battery, so no complaints from me. love the notifcations preview and direct linking to messages/call history and can't live without them.

Not having any battery issues here....might be the ROM you're using as it seems some are having problems and some aren't?
