Re: backlight will not turn off

i am a bit hesitant to do a hard reset to fix my backlight issue due to that i have a lot of programs that obviously will need to be reinstall etc.

anybody else knows another way that this backlight issue will get fixed?
i am restating the issue here: the backlight will not go off no matter what option i choose in the advanced power settings
thanks

Geez man...you still haven't hard reset? lol jk
I thought of something just now when you mentioned something. Do you happen to have nuepower cpl installed? If you do, try messing with those settings. If you don't, then install it and see if what happens. You can get it at nuerom.com.

cooked windows 6.5? what are you talkin about? there's already tons of 6.5 roms in the upgrade forum.

Also, you forgot to answer a question i asked. Do you have any nue tools installed?

the chefs don't put sprint software in their roms because it's useless to everyone else on alltel, verizon, bell, telus, criket, USCC, MetroPCS. The roms are made for everyone so there's no carrier specific software in them. Those sprint programs are very easily available for download so you can install after flashing.

Any help?
thanks
I been with this issue since day one (late oct0, just pure stock the blacklight can dim but will not turn "off" I have tried everything different rom....etc. and nothing seems to fix this problem.

I just found it better to have the "power off" checked to save battery instead of having the backlight turn off....or dim in my case.
