Re: Windows Mobile 6.1 / 6.5 / 7 ::UPDATE::

as i said many post back im done arguing with you about this. you keep using winmo 6.1 it doesnt bother me. when all the new phones come out with 6.5 and when the official software comes out dont get them keep using 6.1. but as you see, most of the people of have actually tried winmo 6.5 like it, even though its not the final release, i have nothing more to say about that matter.

Hmmmm I guess you never bothered to install or heard of Rhodium Menu enhancements. Jst about everything on my 6.1 is finger friendly.

My 6.1 maybe crashes once a month and only when I have really run a lot of stuff at once (like managing my servers or browsed a ton o graphic intensive websites using opera. How many crashes do you have a day/week? Is it less than once a month?

So far all you have cited as better is kinetic scrolling and it looks nice!
Which if you read my challenge means you managed to find ONE thing that might rally b better and tried to imply that it was more stable by saying it crashed less! Well I( have run 6.5 and so have meny others...
we all know that is not true!

And sidestepping the ram management by sayig it doesn't matter because you have sprint is a pretty weak argument don't you think?
if it doesn't fix one of the BIGGEST issues yet to be resolved by MS in it's WinMo system then it's just 6.1 with a prett start menu and not the future you propose it t be!

Your just trading stability for kinetic scrolling!
I'm sure you scroll to a crash much faster than anyone else though! LOL
Whats also funny about your post is that you said your phone only crashes once a month, you act like i wasn't forced to use 6.1 when i first got my touch pro, my phone crashed waaaay more then once a month. You keep bringing up stability as if 6.5 crashes all the time. As everyone on here as stated 6.5 is very stable and doesn't crash. Like i said i had 6.1 obviously before 6.5 and I soft reset the exact same number of times a week. SO FOR THE FINAL TIME, 6.5 IS JUST AS STABLE AS 6.1

Also you keep bringing up memory managment, When i run 6.1 with touch flo and then i run 6.5 without touchflo, i have more ram available and my phone is more responsive, so honestly i have no clue what you're talking about. I have only benefits from running 6.5 no downsides at all. My phone doesn't crash more often then 6.1 and i always have more ram available and i'm sure this goes for all of the 6.5 users.

Re: Windows Mobile 6.1 / 6.5 / 7 ::UPDATE::

I am new to this, but I tried Mighty Rom 5 and loved it, but when I tried Silence Rom out, I fell inlove with it too, so I am probably going to stick to Silence, I have the windows mobile 6.1. I have the need for speed!

if you are running mighty rom 5 or silence rom, then you are running 6.5 not 6.1, please go back and change your vote

Re: Windows Mobile 6.1 / 6.5 / 7 ::UPDATE::

for whatever reason, every 6.5 rom i flash to my sprint TP, it lags like crazy. Awesome on the memory compared to TF3D. I think I'll wait till the app store comes out, and we find roms with it included, THEN I'll start trying my luck more with it, but for now, I'm only running 6.1 roms.
