Appointment in Outlook Mobile not displaying notes field

Hi all,
I did a bit of searching and couldn't come up with anything so I was hoping some people could either tell me they are or are not experiencing this same issue.

The computer sending the appintment invite is: WinXP up to date with Outlook 2007 up to date.

The phone checking the email and receiving the update is: Sprint Touch Pro Mighty Rom 4.16

I invite someone via their email address to an appointment.
They check their email on their touch pro (imap gmail).
They see the appointment and can accept it but the notes filed of the appointment
doesn't come through. In fact, there is always an attachment of the name format attXXXX.

Can anyone else confirm that they do or do not have this issue?

Wow strange, i have the same problem. But then i dont worry too much about the notes section, except for my phone. I just tried sending one for today to my wifes phone, and the notes didnt show up either. Except, we are both using stock ROM's.

Thx so much for the reply and for presumably saving me some needless hard resetting. This kinda sucks for us because this is how we send our mobile workforce updates during the day etc... I wonder if this only started happening when we upgraded Outlook 2007 to Service Pack 2. Talon Pro, can you please let me know what version of Outlook (and service pack) you tested with?

Outlook 07 (12.0.4518.1014) MSO (12.0.4518.1014)

So it doesnt look like its SP2. I rtried tweaking some settings in Outlook, didnt seem to help. I dont think its an Outlook problem though, more like maybe a phone shortcoming. I sent todays agenda to my wifes email which comes through on her Diamond, and PC. The pc appointment showed the 'notes' in the normal body of the email, her phone didnt show it (even after accepting it) and even when going into the edit part of the item. Ive poked around everywhere I can find to poke in AS, so i dont think its an option in there either.

When you say you send the updates, do you send to the phones, or to the employees Exchange/Email account? If you send it early enough, and they sync the items over (vs accepting via TP email) then i think the notes should show like they do for me when i make the calendar item (i edit it on the calendar and it syncs it over, i dont email it out). I still have to go to Edit the item and then i can click the Notes tab.

AH ha! It IS a setting on the Phone. Go to your Calendar and Menu--> Tools--> Options (only choice) on the Appointments Tab, Show icons: Click the 3rd from the left, its the Notes icon.

I clicked it and even i can see my notes when i hit the appointment from the calendar.

P.S. Dont forget the Thanks button

Talon Pro... nice follow up... It just started working today as confirmed by one of our techs and a test I ran. I'm not sure why it magically started working??? I think the icon option you are pointing out is simply adding a picture to appointments on the phone to let you know characteristics of the appt without having to open it. (i.e. are there notes, is it recurring etc...) Thanks for your help. For now I consider this issue either not happening or intermittent.
