Re: Is it worth switching from a Diamond to Pro
I have the TP, and have thought I might be happier with the diamond just for battery life. But I haven't had a phone without a physical keyboard in years, not ready to give it up.

Re: Is it worth switching from a Diamond to Pro
Seconding this. TouchPal is super fast. If it weren't for the lack of a MicroSD, I would have a Diamond. I will probably jump on the Diamond 2 the minute it comes out for Sprint, as long as it still has the slot.

Re: Is it worth switching from a Diamond to Pro
Funny, I have a Touch Pro and would love a Diamond if only it had a card slot. Ideally, I'ld love a Vogue with the Diamond display and wifi. To bad Sprint/HTC didn't see it that way.
Now when I plan on doing something that requires a lot of battery life, like hiking/traveling or doing a lot of streaming, I'll change my phone to the Vogue. For doing things where I have access to power, like work or the car, I'll change back to the TP. |

I like jmorton said, I too can type faster using touchpal. However, the physical keyboard comes in handy when typing more obscure names, or trying to input POI's into gps nav software. Also, I feel that a microsd card is a must, absolute must. The tv out feature is really cool, especially if you do the $3.65 + Registry Hack = TV Out

Re: Is it worth switching from a Diamond to Pro
This was my first phone with a physical keyboard and while it took a little while to get used to as I came from the touch to the Diamond to now the touch pro I gotta say the Roms and features of the Pro really are worth it. I was a little worried about the change in thickness due to the keyboard but when I put the phones side by side the difference was negligible at best definitely glad I switched to the TP. Plus (not completely sure) but isn't the hardware better on the TP?
