Re: Fellow Geeks Opinion
it's blacked out, you have to soft rest to get it working.
Every ROM is going to have a glitch, big or small someone will always find something wrong. when i used Mighty 4.16 it worked great. The avg. user will think it to be almost flawless. but that's just opinion. Last edited by Gkillratio; 05-03-2009 at 01:48 AM. |

Re: Fellow Geeks Opinion
A later build Sprint TP I find to be pretty usable out of the box. It doesn't feel horribly crippled like older WM phones used to feel, based on what I've read. Many of the tweaks I have read about were already integrated into my stock ROM, such as the ATI 3D drivers. My TF3D performance, also, wasn't choppy and terrible out of the box, either. I do recommend trying a few radios, though, regardless of the base ROM.

Re: Fellow Geeks Opinion
I always leave a new phone stock for at least a few days just in case there's a problem that requires a return, consider it a burn in period. Early failure is not uncommon with electrical devices and I'm not going to invest the time to unlock flash and tweak the phone only to have to undo it right away for return.
