data while roaming?

im going up to my grandparents in west bumblefuk this weekend and last time i was there i couldnt connect to the internet at all.. is there a way to program the phone so that i can connect when i roam? ive read a few threads but im not sure what to do.

If you have a signal you should be able to connect.
To be sure go to
Start/Settings/Phone then click the Services Tab
Select Roaming, then "Get Settings"
Check, automatic, Never Ask/Allow Roaming. Call gaurd off.

thanks for the reply.. i checked those settings and i get error code :67
your pcs vision username and/or password is inncorrct?

try doing a prl and profile update if you havent already. and try flashing to a new radio. A new radio should and usually helps with your signal strength. Hopefully this helps

just tried doing both a prl and profile update. still no go.. same error as before.. kinda sucks being up in the mountains of cali without being able to watch the yankees play

well wait thinking about it.. internet is considered data right? i cant use my internet picture mail or anything like that

are you able to flash to a new radio right now? if so, do that. It does suck having basically the world in your hands and not being able to RULE IT! lol

nope left my cord back in san fran.. im up in sonora right now.. im not sure if my grandmothers labtop has bluetooth.. if it does could i unlock and flash with it?

If you can transfer files to your SD card via bluetooth then you can flash from there yes

yaa no go on the bluetooth she doesnt have it installed and i dont feel like playing with her labtop .. you think if i call sprint they would know?

maybe they would. They'll probably do less than we're able to do here. The most I can think they'd do is flag you for a prl update.
