Need Help with GPS...Im dyin here..

I cannot figure out for the life of me why GPS works for some programs and not for others. I am using a Sprint TP on Verizon with the leaked VZN Rom. My GraminXT, Google maps, Live search and GPS2Clipboard all work fast and great. I cannot get GPSToday, GPS photo mode in the camera, or Locr GPS photo to ever lock any sats. I have searched theards for these and can't figure it out. Can anyone show me the (sate)light???

Try installing this cab and let me know if it helps. You may wanna try doing a soft reset after you install this (i.e. restart your phone). Please let me know. Thanks!


EDIT: Please also make sure your LOCATION setting is set to ON in your phone settings. That's the aGPS setting.

hmmm. installed and it and it didnt seem to help. It seems like the programs that are not working are not using the right port or something. I get google maps running and then open GPSToday and nothing. I am walking down my street and google maps tracks me and everything. What else could it be? Also, I do have location setting on.

Try manually setting your gps software/apps to Comm 4, and 3800 for baud rate. That's where your GPS should be located.

Older GPStoday did not work for me, but this beta one does. Hope it helps.
