Best ROM for Touch Pro and Cricket

Hi Kcallis,

I would like to suggest Mighty Rom 4/R3born.

It's the best WM6.1 rom out there. Fully loaded, TF3D optimized, updated drivers and registry settings. Social networking with Youtube, Facebook uploading. Flash and java support. NueGPSSecurity fully integrated. UC and Sashimi compatible. Opera and Pocket IE. GPS is unlocked and comes with the newest version of Googlemaps. Internet Sharing and Bluetooth explorer and so many other things. Everything works and works really well. Also there is customizations and themes made specifically for it by Lilrico. I'm curious as to what one means by 'play well' with Cricket? What exactly is not working? To my knowledge, any Touch Pro rom is configurable to Cricket. I personally use KK's Loaded Sprint rom 'cause of all the apps and comparable performance.

i want to know what i have to do to get all this working on my sprint touch pro for cricket i use talk, text, pic messaging, video messaging, web, google maps with gps ofcourse, youtube, and email . Right now i paid some asss to do a "full flash" and was able to use all above except pic messaging and video messaging then i started gettin error messages about the web and kept asking for my pass wich supposed to be cricket wich now wont accept says its incorect and sop i took it back to the place that flashed it and now its worse i have no email no pic mess video mess n still the dam error messages fo the web and says wrong pass SOO ID RATHER LEARN TO DO IT MY SELF WHERE DO START?

Since my initial question was posted, I have switched to MightyROM 4/R3Born and for the most part things have been good to go. I was wondering what you thoughts were about MR5 and using it with Cricket

meh, i can setup the cricket settings in my sleep now. I've flashed/cooked so many roms on my TP on Cricket. Although lately i've been having problems with IM apps working, like as if they've restricted the WAP connection a bit. I need to do some research on their network. in Phx AZ btw.

i use DCD 1.11- a lightweight and very, very, very fast ROM along with his Cricket carrier cab that configures most everything (except for MMS) for you. just fill in the blanks! check it out;

Cricket uses a dumb proxy here in Portland, OR

What are you using for IM function? Looking for something that will work over EVDO, which probably puts us back to getting a better proxy to cnnect to...

I actually had to upgrade my cricket svc to the next level (allows you to POP email) after setting it up, i could access AIM, but still not able to POP email with pOutlook. are there other proxies that can be used? i've been using wap.mycricket.com on port 8080
Once again i have lost AIM access. Its like cricket wants us to use their phones!
