Possible to use other towers?

I dont really know a straight why to ask this, so Ill try my best. My serice is with sprint, but I dont live near a sprint tower, so I get no benifits, such as data and stuff. Now theres a verizon tower like 2000 feet away, is there a way I can use it as if it were sprints. Like if I put a verizon radio, would it then allow the data and stuff? Only thing I can do with my phone now, is make calls, and im always roaming.

I don't think there is anything you can do. Your phone will always appear to Verizon as a roaming phone and would be subject to the roaming agreement Sprint and Verizon have in your area (or who ever you roam on).

In Philadelphia Verizon allows data roaming from Sprint, but it is limited to 1X.
