There an update that needs to be installed to get WMDC working. Google something like .msi installer update windows 7 and you should be able to find it. There is a bug in windows 7 that wont let you install .msi packages. After you do the update you can download WMDC and reninstall it, thats what had to do with 7057 x64 to get it working, hope it works for you so you dont have to ever use vista again.
