Yeah it was for the 6800, but that port is common amongst most phones (they vary but have the same design principle).

What I understood about our HTC phones is that the internal and external antennas connect at that jack. So what had happened with mine is that in twisting the external wire it somehow rotated the inside and unplugged the internal antenna. And that was pretty much it for the phone for regular use.

I was able to continue using it with the external antenna i made, but it was under the cover.

The phone worked just as good as it did before, only I knew what was up.
