6.5 & weak gps signal for Sprint Navigation..HELP??

Everytime i open sprint navigation it works fine until its time to get directions. The GPS signal is always weak and i have to turn the data connection on and off a few times before it finally connects. This happen to anybody else? Suggestions?

i used to have the weak gps signal problem with my touch pro on sprints stock rom. after upgrading to Mighty Rom 4.16 I am able to get a signal lock almost anywhere (reasonably... not in the middle of home depot or anything)
