Wireless Stereo Problem: DR-BT160AS

I just got a pair of SONY DR-BT160AS headphones and they are by far and away the BEST Bluetooth headphones I've ever used. However, I'm running into an issue. When I turn on the headphones, the hands-free turns on, but not the Wireless Stereo.

I have to go into Comm Manager and explicitly turn on Wireless Stereo every time I want to use the device. A pain the butt.

Does anyone have any experience with this? It would be awesome to fix this via registry setting or something.

Pushing the play button on the headphones switches stereo on for me.

You my man are my hero! That is crazy. Most headphones I have tried just simply connect.
