Re: touch screen frozen how to access start menu from d-pad or keyboard CDMA VRZ
now they are telling me they do not know of a way to hard resest/reformat with the touch screen being non-responsive
I just about cannot believe the start menu cannot be accessed via the keyboard or that that a reformat cannot be performed without the touch screen |

Re: touch screen frozen how to access start menu from d-pad or keyboard CDMA VRZ
no they tell me a hard reset cannot be done without the touch screen being responsive
ideally I'd like to be able to access the start menu and run my back up program then I'd like to wipe it out without anarchist type methods prior to sending it back |

Re: touch screen frozen how to access start menu from d-pad or keyboard CDMA VRZ
and it is possible the touch screen may come back to life after a hard reset
I'd think so anyhow it's never even glitched (touch screen) on me other than this which I will assume is something running making it warm and locking it up........ Last edited by XV6700Dummy; 04-21-2009 at 01:46 PM. |

Re: touch screen frozen how to access start menu from d-pad or keyboard CDMA VRZ
I'll go try AS on another computer but........
when I hooked it up to my Windows pc it wanted touch screen input to tell it what to do I think my Windows pc is forever stupid and so far no luck AS'ing with ubuntu maybe possible with the latest 9 something version yeah I've soft reset multiple times battery out as well changed batteries accidentally mamaged the italian flag looking screen but did not do the hard reset from there which I think meant pushing the top volume button because I really wanted to back up my tm's and such damn shame I haven't figured out how to keep all that type stuff on the storage card and yes I've tried everything with and without the storage card in place Last edited by XV6700Dummy; 04-21-2009 at 01:45 PM. |

Re: touch screen frozen how to access start menu from d-pad or keyboard CDMA VRZ
When you hook it up to a windows machine, the screen asking what you want to do pops up. What is selected on the screen by default? If it's AS, you're in luck, install my mobiler and do what you need, if it's disk drive then I don't really know what to tell ya.

Re: touch screen frozen how to access start menu from d-pad or keyboard CDMA VRZ
so does anyone disagree that the start menu cannot be accessed with an inop touch screen?
I sure think it should be accessible but thus far I've not found the combo to get off the today list and to the upper or lower bars not running TF3D if that matters |
