flashing-installed apps on flash card

I installed 90% of all my applications to my flash card so that when I flash (like in 10 mins) I dont have to reinstall everything. Problem is all the shortcuts get destroyed, also is there a way to tell if an app is intstalled on the card or device?

Not surprising that all of your shortcuts get destroyed during the flash process. Remember this is the equivalent of reformatting your PC's hard drive. As for determining where your apps are installed, use your File Explorer

A lot of apps will need to be reinstalled anyway as they add entries to the registry that won't be there after a flash.

Re: flashing-installed apps on flash card

It's easy and quick to copy your \Windows\Start Menu folder to somewhere on your MicroSD card so it can be copied back after a flash. Even if you reinstall (which you really should do), it makes reorganizing things much faster. You can simply delete everything in \Windows\Start Menu and copy your backup to that location.

While you're at it, do the same with \Windows\Favorites.
