my phone also locks up when trying to close nuePower. not really an issue, but figured i would confirm that it was happening here too. (Calc's kitchen 21501 cooked rom)

for everyone using nuePowerCPL .. its a known issue that it locks up on WM 6.5...

But I don't care what I do, I can't seem to improve the life of this thing.
I've done all the standard tweaks, as well as added this cool little app., but don't seem to see a noticable difference.

I get up about 6:15 everyday and by lunchtime I'm under 30% regardless of what I do.

I don't push mail, get a few texts during that time, I might check email once or twice, and the weather updates on the hour. Backlight shuts off after 30 secs. and data cuts off after 1 min. I'm running 528, 384, 81, 81 on the nueDynClock, have the stock ROM with the latest Sprint radio. I also use TF3D.

The amount of savings you get is really dependent on how much you use your phone... I think. Some other ideas, if you haven't tried already include updating the radio rom of your phone, I've tested .. and am pretty certain the stock sprint one has horrible battery life.

lower the power usage of the applications processor isn't going to do much if the radio transciever / radio are sucking up power like crazy.

You may want to swap out your phone. My business partner was having similar problems and got a new phone a couple of weeks ago and the difference is night and day. He just called Sprint and they had him a new phone the next day via FedEx (or whoever). We went from having the battery dying very quickly to going for 2 days between charges. Same ROM.

nue2chem - when I install one of the popular ROMs - like Mighty or Juicy does it update the radio automatically or do I have to do update radio separately ?

as far as I know only the "shipped" rom's have the radio.

@ GRB when was the last time you let the battery die completely? also it looks like your running the stock rom... :( it is notorious for bad battery.

I believe
528
216
81
18

or whatever the closest values are to those.

it's now 3pm the next day, so 30 hours and it just hit 10%
thats 3.5 times the battery life I was experiencing prior to this.

plugging it in now, as I'll need the phone when I'm out later tonight.

It "powers down" quite often, I believe it's when the battery reaches 10%, As far as a complete drain, I can't say I've ever done that. I wouldn't even know how.

And yes, I'm on the latest stock ROM. Although I've done a ton of modifications, I haven't quite mustered up the Cajones to attempt Flashing :???:

To the poster that suggested an exchange: that's pretty much out of the question since I bought the phone 3rd party, thus no warranty.

I love this phone and look forward to getting a Diamond 2 (since I don't use the slideout) when my plan expires in Dec, But the battery life is a potential deal killer if you know what I mean.

Sorry for getting off topic.
