HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Battery
Default on most roms
PollInterval REG_DWORD 20000-DEC
changed to:
PollInterval REG_DWORD 1250-DEC

Feel free to mess around with the DEC numbers....see what gets the best Battery life from your rom

i get the same thing, It will not install for me either.

would you mind checking what the discharge is with this installed and with out it installed?

so i went to change the number to 1250 and it was already at 5000 not 20000.
maybe no2chem was talking about a different .cab file im going to test and see how big of a difference, if any this makes

I checked the discharge rates and there appears to be no difference whether the cab is installed or not. Is it possible the cab helps when the screen is off?

To "save" battery the interval number being higher saves battery. The lower the number the more often the processor will poll the battery so instead of checking the battery every 1.25 seconds it checks the battery every 20 seconds. So the lower the number the more accurate but less efficient.

Hey there guys .... sorry for not having the file as a cab file itself, but I see someone did it for me already (Thank You bigwally). In addition to my first post to this thread I also added the WinRar for PPC, so it will be easier and you just have to do it in your phone directly and avoid any complications.

If problems persist please let me know, PM me or continue the questions here.

so technically this could just make the battery more accurate and wouldnt help the battery life very much?
