Setting up IMAP

Sorry, I am sort of new and have been trying to search and figure this out myself. In a previous link or thread MRSPEEDMASTER talks about setting up a YAHOO! account as IMAP

""This works for me using mobile outlook.
Create an IMAP account:

incoming mail server: imap.next.mail.yahoo.com

username: your full Yahoo email address

outgoing mail: smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
outgoing requires authentication (uncheck any SSL)""

Now I can't get this to work and or i am doing something wrong. I have tried this through active sync and i go down a dead end. I have also tried this under the normal add an account and that doesn't give me the push and pull like i want. i want to be able to get email's as they come, like active sync.

Any suggestions or walk throughs that i missed.

Thanks much

Patrick

Re: Setting up IMAP

Ok, goofing around I found the place to set up all the changes. Funny, I didn't see or didn't figure out how to get there before.

Now, is there a way to make it so I can change it to check and receive emails as they come in. Like activesync, rather then the 5 minutes or manually????
