no more notification for alarm

when the alarm goes off i used to get a notification on the bottom of the screen where you can choose to dismiss or snooze but now im not getting that window anymore.....i have to click on the titlebar at top and click on the alarm button for the window to come up. is it b/c i turned off the sms notification? any ideas? thanks.

ander your alarms and notification settings, check to see that for alarms it still says to show a notification on screen

just checked the notification settings and they are indeed checked....any other ideas??

do you have any notification enhancments installed? like the new rhodium stuff? if so, there might be a glitch with that. other then that, what method did you use to turn off sms notifications?

nothing installed except for the audiopara fix....i did the SMSNoSentMsg"=dword:00000001 ->0 to enable, 1 to disable
fix using regedit.

hmm, that should not break anything, did you try a soft reset and try the alarm again? also, what rom are you running? stock or one of the customs available?

The settings are actually listed as "Reminders" to get it to pop up on the screen.

i think there is a cool program i use to use for alarms with snooze and all that and you can choose the snooze time. you want me to find it for you? i think i may know where it is

hard reset. mine does that if i install some applications. its annoying and hasn't done it since i hard reset.
