Email Issue - Yahoo

Hi All,

I'm new to PPC Geeks and I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. I recently got a Sprint HTC Touch Pro and set up my yahoo mail on it. I am able to sent and receive emails however for some reason when I delete mails from the phone it doesn't delete on the yahoo server inbox. Any idea how to fix this?

Also, I had a palm centro before and it was able to automatically input apostrophe in words like "I'm, didn't, doesn't...etc) Is there a way to get this on this phone?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Email Issue - Yahoo

I am not sure if you are using IMAP or POP, but the setting should be there.

You will need to enable "T9" for the auto complete.

Re: Email Issue - Yahoo

Do you mean when you go on yahoo.com on your computer the deleted emails on your Touch Pro they are still on the server like in the trash area, or you cant delete them when ever you set up your email on your TP it should let you decide when you delete emails if you want them gone or kept on the server. Its in advance setting on the email setup on the phone. Or at least on mine I have the Verizon HTC Touch Pro but its pretty ,uch the same
