So, I bought my Raphael from a Sprint Store tech, literally. Went in with a defective Vogue, $300, and an unpgrade, came out with an upgrade and a Rapaehl (little more complicated than that, short on time). Now, for some odd reason, when i slide my keyboard out from the top of the phone (where the external speaker is located), the screen goes haywire. It does this multi-colored matrix looking thing, and the screen slowly blacks out. I'd say it does this 8/10 times. I'm assuming this is related to the issue where sliding out the keyboard slowly strips the wiring that connects the keyboard to the screen, and was wanting some insight.
THe phone has been unlocked, and had another radio flashed on it, but other than that, it's had snothing but cab files installed. And from my experience, cab files wouldn't really effect it that way, depending on the cab's installed. And the only screen related cab's I've installed, was Gyrator. It screams "hardware issue" to me.
Since I didn't literally get it throught the sprint store, I would assume my only option would be TEP
That being said, of the people that read this thread, what are your takes on the refurbished phones you've received from asurion. I know when I had a Vogue, half the time the refurbished ones were worse than the ones I sent in.
Just looking for a little insight, thanks in advance, out of town so a response might take a bit.
