flashing from sprint to alltel?

i am planning on getting the pre soon on a smoking deal cause a friend of mine works for sprint. my wife has alltel and is stuck with the stuid scoop for another year before she can upgrade so i am going to give my touch pro to her. to get it to work on alltel do i just need to flash the alltel dump? i am new to this flashing and modding thing so im not sure. the only posts i could find had to do with the diamond and it was early into its existence so there wasnt much info on it. im sorry if i post in the wrong place but i dont know what im doing. i figure i have a touch pro this is the touch pro section. thanks for what you can answer for me.
