Initial impression was positive. I like the interface. This lasted until my first data connection. Used to seeing 3 or 4 bars, I was staring at one bar. Unsure if slow browsing was due to OS or radio driver. IE and opera both experienced several involventary shutdowns on secure pages. Stattelite radio doesn't work. Other apps wouldn't install. If I had a spare TP, I'd play more but need a stable quick OS today. Sticking with MR6.14 until the apps catch up.

My experience is similar. I use SPB mobile shell and there is an inherant conflict between the Now screen and the lock screen. Some other programs seem to run slow. After using mobile shell for some time I found it arkward to only launch programs using the start menu which for me is hard to push with my finger.

The ROM Thread is about the ROM itself it does have a couple of posts of people's change but instead of reading through 1000 posts for those with MightyROM 4.16 they can come here

I have not tried Copper yet since I just flashed to MR 4.16 which is my first custom Rom. As for the OS war... I use Windows Media Center on all of my desktops since it is basically XP Pro but with the Media Center added in. With MC addition you can use it to host Remote Desktop and I do. Win 7 is on my LT's and I love it. I will cry when I have to revert back. Hopefully it makes distribution before the Beta ends.

I found a way to have the best of both worlds. I switched to Copper but installed TF3D2 on top of that. THis way, I can easily switch between the two interfaces (Home Settings).

Follow this guide, but make sure you hard reset first and don't install the CABs that I don't metion in the post...

This runs very fast on my VZW TP!

The set of people who went from MR to Copper are invited to this thread. All others are excluded why? They merely went to a pre-MR5 rom from the 4.x rom.

The question should have been: Do you like WM 6.5 over a tweaked 6.1?

This question has been asked several times already. (for ex: "6.5- worth it?")

As a flashaholic, I'll give anything a whirl and see what is new or different about so-and-so's rom. I've spent my time with the ppckitchen and rolled my own Mogul rom. I don't mind wiping and starting over anytime (UC! Woot!). When it comes to a given rom, the place to debate pros and cons is in that rom's thread. Some people get a little defensive.. as Frau Farbissina would put it: Scott!!! (just ribbing ya, man)
Some gush uncontrollably as if they were North Koreans and the rom came from Dear Leader Kim Il Jong himself! (as if any NK citizen were allowed to have a cell phone!) Either way, the feedback should be right where someone would expect to find it - in the same place as the rom. Then again, it is just MHO.

No because then a lot of people are going to say well so and so ROM wasn't so good and i like this one

He is just asking since MightyROM is a great rom as it is now should he flash to copper or stay

if he would have asked the question you wrote he would have gotten a lot of other ROMs comparisons

I went from 4.16 to copper and quickly decided I wanted tf3d back.
I noticed erice just uploaded a 6.5 kitchen with the same build as copper so I decided to check it out. Now I have a sweet 6.5 rom with tf3d cooked in that runs just as fast as copper... so my advise is to try out copper and then use the kitchen to make something of your own.
