Syncing Yahoo on PC with Yahoo web server

I am having an issue:

I set up yahoo on the phone however I can't seem to get the inbox to sync with the web server. i.e. if I delete an email that comes through on the phone it doesn't delete on the website.

Also, while I'm at it I may as well say I had a palm centro before and was able to have the phone recognize where an apostrophe should go automatically with words like "I'm, doesn't, don't, etc." Is there a way to get this phone to do that? Maybe with T9?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I really love my new touch pro
